Life doesn't involve happy ending stories every time. After breaking up of a compelling relationship or death of loved one, after a while you start to see repeating patterns of current ending and previous ones. In fact, end of the relationship, even deaths, bring great teachings too.You become to see yourself mirrored back through the eyes of others. Your relationships inform you about yourself and often shape who you are and who you are to become. Despite this, your emotions sometimes do not accompany to speed of your decisions. In another contex of another moment you may inevitably come across your uncompleted mourning. Sometimes, the relationship ends but the feeling remains. As if, it seems like you exposed to excess hot water to your wool coat and then the lining hung down from your coat. In such circumstances, it is necessary to let emotions free with expressing them. Last night, I sat down a seat in a quiet place. First, I had deep and long breathes and then I started to tell my feelings and my thoughts vocally. With every words I expressed and with every words my ears heard from outside; I felt much more relaxed and I felt much more completed. Don't forget, healing does not mean the damage never existed, it means the damage no longer control our lives. 🙏🏻

Imperfection and death are a part of the natural rhythm of the universe. Being at the nature mindfully helps us gain the ability to accept the natural flow of life. Also accepting our own flaws and growing older indirectly. Sometimes when we are at the nature we hear the rhythm and our spirit begins to dance automatically. These are worthful times for not to miss the oppurtunity of resignation by staying here and now. Last weekend I experienced it and today I did my meditation with that sound of waterfall I recorded that day. We are organisms who try to reach the pleassure in the fastest way. Also we have been taught that more is better by the system. Fast food and industrialized meal solutions changed how we eat by reducing effort and then reducing it some more. More calories, less effort, what more an organism desire! But later with illnesses (such as cancer) triggered by malnutrition, people became conscious and began to move towards healthier foods. At last ancient doctrines and philosophy have also entered into the business and as a concept "culinary mindfulness" was born. Actually less is better now if we are talking about cooking. As an evidence, scientologists have been publishing lots of articles about food addiction. That's way as a result, too many people now see high sugar/fat foods and drinks as seductive enemies rather than potentially satisfying friends. Culinary mindfulness is a simple way to change these unhealthy habits mind. Yes, simple is the best but definetely not the easiest (Especially if there is a bakery emitting appetizing smells close to your home 😅). It can still be said that I resisted well by mindfully cooking home made healthy foods today!✌🏻😉💪🏻🌶🍆🥒🥕🥗

I have been thinking how mindfulness can help us get and stay more motivated since yesterday. It’s not easy to embrace the here and now. Most of times we focus too much thinking on past negative experiences or on the future with a desire to control it. This is not good either, as we can’t predict it all. It is important to know what target we really want and know mistakes that we had done before while trying to reach it for not to do the same next time. But at the same time, we need to focus on today- what small steps are we going to take today? Actually we don’t need to wait till we know all the things gonna happen. We can learn new things in the process of doing new things with mindful awareness in here and now. Today while I was working on my new training programme, I focused on the now and the current step, and when it has done, I moved on to the next one. Just one thing at the time. After I reached my daily goals I didn't miss to congratulate myself with a nice cup of coffee and dessert with one of my friends. ✌🏻🙆🏻☕️

Last night I decided to read mindfully. I thought reading stories could be a good way to try mindful reading cuz they were easier to get into. But before starting, the first thing to consider was where to read. Usually, I can read in anywhere, it doen't matter where I am, I can concentrate what I read. But this time I chose my home as a quiet place. I thought that the fewer distractions were exposed to, the easier it was to stay focused for mindful reading. Then, I used pillows to make myself as comfortable as possible on the sofa, I streched my feet and I relaxed my body by mindful breathing. Because the more comfortable the body is, the easier it is to concentrate either. Also the breath is an awasome meditation object, which can be felt either in the abdomen and chest or at the nostrils and can be used to regain attention. After relaxation, I started reading. I was reading slowly and only gave my attention what I read. When the text was complex to understand, I gave more attention to the reading (not surprising if you are reading Zweig 🙂). I took frequent breaks and only read as long as my mind was fresh and alert. Every time when irrelevant thoughts came to my mind, I just stopped reading, I gave my attention to my breathes and began to read again when I felt ready. Sometimes I just stopped reading and thought about interesting points what I read.   • Mindfulness is something that you can weave into every facet of life; especially mindful speaking and mindful listening. Today I went to the chocolate shop with my friend. Don't worry, I will not mention delicious chocolates and desserts I have seen there to you. It is another love story 💜🙃This evening, with the aim of trying not to eat all of them, I decided to improve my mindful communication skills. 🙈I practiced mindful listening, really listening with no distraction. I tried to look my friend in the eye, hear what she said (without reacting or interrupting) and just let her express herself and her feelings in a gentle silence. I discovered that it was not easy not to be an interrupter. Most of us get so excited and begin vomiting our thoughts all over the person trying to speak. I’ve been practicing with this for years because of my job. I do better but still have plenty of room for improvement. My mindful listening exercise without eating, drinking and interrupting the conversation seemed to be successful. In this way, I realized that I could feel her emotions more inside me and I enjoyed the deepening of her speech. Mevlana says that: "Not the ones speak the same language, but the ones share the same emotions can understand each other.” I have experienced this one more time tonight and I felt lucky 🙏🏻 I express my gratittude to all my friends who bring my life meaningfullness and happiness.   • However the weather is too cold at these days, I like to do some activities near the seaside. Birding is a good way for it because it gets us outdoors and into nature. According to studies we get improved health and mental wellbeing through ecotherapy. By being in a natural environment or watching/listening to wildlife, breathing in fresh air, they contribute to alleviating depression and anxiety. There are too many gulls live in Istanbul and sometimes when they come together they make me feel that I am at Hitchcock movie🙄😅But most of times they help decreasing my daily stress. Today I watched them mindfully during their feeding times. While working on my third chakra today, I came across this poem written by Zenju E.Manuel. It was an interesting coincidence because third chakra is about personal power and self-esteem. If we have a high self-esteem, we realize that the discomfort we already have is an opportunity to take on the responsibilities involved. If we have a high personal power, we can act in the direction of our foresights. Otherwise we feel weak and make all the lifetime choices with fear of failing so we can't quit from our comfort zone even it destroys our soul. Because guidance of foresight gives motivation and passion about work, but doesn't guarantee to be safe. Nevertheless life leads us to same learning cycles where we may feel more discomfort each time unless we run the risk of leaving our comfort and safety zone. We need to decide: Will we make choices that feeds our souls or will we undermine our own power with the elections against our souls? 🦋🍃🌔👣No one can guide you into your dark moist interior,where the moss has grown in layers,where bamboo could sink itself into you,creating private places.Your innermost earth has no words,so it will not call you.
